As the spring started in Dogliani like the rest of Piemonte early in 2011 with generous long sunny days also the Barbera grapes were ready for harvest two weeks earlier than usual. As a result the Barbera grapes are harvested already early September and after the fermenting step in steel vessels the malolactic fermentation did take place. After a year of development on French oak barrels the 2011 Barbera is now bottled and developing future in the cellar to be released in Oktober 2013
