Vinum Nobis Roero Arneis Trinità 2011 development

 In Uncategorized

As a result from the wet winter this year and the lovely warm early spring days the Arneis bud breaking started early. Since the warm spring days continued also the flowering was much earlier then normal. This in combination with the nice warm summer with occasional showers did result in beautiful bunches of grapes already completely ripe 2 weeks earlier than normal. Therefore we could start the picking of the Arneis Trinità bunches by hand already before the end of August under perfect weather conditions. The Arneis grapes were fermented directly under controlled temperature at 18 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks. Till April 2011 10% of the jus was aging in new French oak casks and the other 90% is continuing to mature in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. As the weather conditions this year were for the Vinum Nobis Trinità Roero Arneis 2011 close to perfection we are confident that in October 2013 we will release a beautiful wine with a high potential for our members.
